This race celebrates the legacy of Fred Lebow (1932–1994), the late New York Road Runners president and co-founder of the TCS New York City Marathon. As you make your way through the course, look out for the bronze statue of Fred by artist Jesús Ygnacio Domínguez at East 90th Street and give a wave in his honor. Learn more about Fred Lebow on our blog.

All participants will receive a warm winter pom beanie to mark the occasion.
