RUNCENTER Transactions

All New York Road Runners’ transactions are now processed online, allowing runners to sign up for memberships, trainings, races, and other events from anywhere. For the convenience of runners visiting the NYRR RUNCENTER, for whom online transactions are barriers, we have installed a new cash-to-card kiosk and a new self-service computer at the NYRR RUNCENTER to assist runners with transactions. The cash-to-card solution allows customers to easily convert cash to a secure cash card that can be used to complete online transactions at the NYRR RUNCENTER on the new self-service computer, barrier-free.

Is there a processing fee to use the kiosk?

There is no processing fee to use the kiosk.

Is there a processing fee to sign up for NYRR events?

Yes, a 5.75% processing fee will be applied to all paid events, memberships, trainings, products and services purchased online, including on the self-service computer at the RUNCENTER. Read more about processing fees here.

Can I use the cash card for non-NYRR purchases or transactions?

Yes, you can use the cash card where debit cards are accepted.

Does the kiosk take coins or international currency?

The kiosk accepts all standard U.S. currency denominations, excluding $2.00 bills. The kiosk does not accept coins. The kiosk does not give change. The cash card machine will convert the exact amount of cash a customer puts in the machine into a cash card.

Can I make my cash payment directly to RUNCENTER staff?

All transactions must be completed online. At the NYRR RUNCENTER, transactions must be completed on the RUNCENTER self-service computer; staff cannot complete any transactions using any form of payment (cash, debit card, credit card, check, etc.). A customer can convert cash into a cash card or use another debit card or credit card to complete their NYRR transactions online.
