The cricket field at the intersection of Baisley Pond Blvd and 154th Street. Baisley Pond Park is located near JFK Airport in Springfield Gardens, Queens on the border of NYC and Nassau County. The park features tennis, handball, and basketball courts; peaceful, shady alcoves for picnicking; and plenty of plant and animal wildlife.

Meet on the south side of Fornino on Pier 6. Brooklyn Bridge Park features volleyball (Pier 6), soccer (Pier 5), and basketball (Pier 2). The Open Run route offers views of the Brooklyn Bridge on the way out, the Statue of Liberty on the way back, and the Lower Manhattan skyline the whole way. Fornino is a great spot to get drinks and pizza after the run.

Beginning of United Nations Avenue South, by the parking lot at 111th Street and 55th Avenue. One of the city's most iconic parks, Flushing Meadows Corona Park was the site of two 20th-century World's Fairs. It features historic walks, scenic trails, sports venues, and facilities for activities including soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, cricket, and more, as well as a recreation center, an indoor pool, lakes, trails, and many cultural and civic institutions.

Morningside Park stretches 13 blocks through the neighborhoods of Harlem and Morningside Heights and features winding paths bordered with flowers and trees, sports fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, and a cascading waterfall. On Saturdays, local farmers sell their goods in an outdoor market.

Park entrance at the intersection of Isham Street and Seaman Avenue. Evidence of Inwood Hill Park’s formation exists as caves, valleys, and ridges left as the result of shifting glaciers. Evidence of its uninhabited state afterward remains as its forest and salt marsh (the last natural one in Manhattan), and evidence of its use by Native Americans continues to be discovered. Most of the park was largely untouched by wars and development. The park features a hiking trail and the Hudson River Bike Trail, and is one of the best places in NYC to spot a bald eagle. It also includes athletic fields, playgrounds, dog runs, and a barbecue area.

Lincoln Park Fountain. Lincoln Park in Jersey City is the jewel of the Hudson County Park System, attracting residents of all ages and interests who are looking to enjoy open space in the middle of an urban landscape. Designed by Daniel W. Langton and Charles N. Lowrie, both founding members of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Lincoln Park opened in 1905. Covering 273 acres, the park features baseball and cricket fields, 21 outdoor tennis courts, the Charlie May running track, walking trails, and more! Guests can also enjoy access to public Wi-Fi and a seasonal weekly farmers’ market.

Park entrance at the intersection of Morrison Avenue and Lafayette Avenue. Called the “Gateway to the Bronx River,” 205-acre Soundview Park is located where the Bronx River opens into the East River. This urban green space is filled with grassy baseball and soccer fields, a cricket pitch, basketball courts, a running track, walking/biking paths, picnic fields and more! With its extensive views of the water, Soundview Park celebrates the beauty of both the Bronx and East Rivers. The Open Run course helps participants celebrate one another as they take part in a scenic, fun run/walk!

Park Entrance at E 149th Street (Between St. Ann’s Ave and Eagle Ave). St. Mary's Park offers a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Located in the Mott Haven neighborhood in the South Bronx, the park features rolling hills, expanses of green grass, and grand old trees. The site was once part of the estate of Jonas Bronck (1600-43), for whom the Bronx is named. It is one of the largest parks in the area with a pool, playground, basketball courts, an indoor recreation center, picnic seating areas, and more. In the winter, the hills are perfect for sledding. St. Mary’s Park received $30 million from NYC’s Anchor Parks initiative, which will renovate the park’s ballfields, pathways, and amphitheater.
