  • NYRR Race Free

    We at New York Road Runners believe running should be accessible to everyone. To help, we created NYRR Race Free to provide race fee assistance to those who qualify financially.

    In 2026, we will offer 2,000 spots in the NYRR Race Free Program and more than 6,000 complimentary race entries, including entry for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Accepted NYRR Race Free participants will receive up to 6 complimentary entries to our weekly races and the opportunity to access training for free.

    The 2026 application period is now closed. We invite you to apply for the 2027 NYRR Race Freeprogram, which is expected to open in October 2026. Please visit the NYRR Race Free page for updates in September.

    Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines.

    All participants will receive a New Balance Singlet at number pickup.

    On race day, number pickup will be available beginning at 6:15 a.m. at Race-Day Central (located in David Dinkins Circle).

    Show your race confirmation email or the QR code from your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Proxy bib pickup is available for this race, so a friend or family member can pick up your race materials. The person will need the QR code for your NYRR account, along with a form of photo identification that corresponds to your NYRR account.

  • Queens Race Number Pickup at Citizens Woodside Branch

    Race numbers will also be available for pickup at the Citizens Woodside branch (5120 Northern Boulevard, Woodside, NY) on the following dates:

    • Wednesday, June 17: 12:00 p.m–5:00 p.m.
    • Thursday, June 18: 12:00 p.m–5:00 p.m.
  • Queens Race Number Pickup at the New Balance Flatiron Flagship Store

    Race numbers will be available for pickup at the New Balance Flatiron Flagship Store (150 5th Ave, New York, NY 10011) on the following dates:

    • Wednesday, June 10: 10:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Thursday, June 11: 10:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday, June 17: 10:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

  • Commemorate your Citizens Queens 10K achievement with an iTAB!

    When you purchase an iTAB, it will arrive in the mail engraved with your name and finish time a few days after you finish your races and collect your medal at the finish line . The iTAB fits perfectly onto the ribbon of your medal and is a great way to celebrate and share your event journey.

    To purchase iTAB, follow the below instructions:

More Race Information

  • 4 Out of 6 Program

    The 4 Out of 6 program allows NYRR members who meet the eligibility requirements to gain guaranteed entry to the United Airlines NYC Half.

    Eligibility for entry to the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who complete four qualifying events in 2026 and have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2026 4 Out of 6 program (the NYRR Staten Island Half on October 11, 2026).

    The following races in 2026 will count toward the 4 Out of 6 program qualification for the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half (Please note all dates are pending permit approval and subject to change):

    • NYRR Manhattan 10K (February 1)
    • Virtual United Airlines NYC Half Medal (March 7-15)
    • United Airlines NYC Half (March 15)
    • Virtual RBC Brooklyn Half Medal (May 9-17)
    • RBC Brooklyn Half (May 16)
    • Citizens Queens 10K (June 13)
    • New Balance Bronx 10 Mile (September 19)
    • NYRR Staten Island Half (October 11)
  • Cancellation Policy

    If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.

    No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.
