Nnenna Lynch, Chair
Nnenna Lynch has served on the NYRR Board of Directors since 2014 and for many years served as chair of the Community Impact Committee. On July 1, 2023, she became chair of NYRR's Board of Directors. She is the first woman and the first African American to hold the role.
Nnenna has been involved with running and NYRR since she was a New York City public school standout in the 1980s, when she was coached by former NYRR President Barry Geisler, a 2025 NYRR Hall of Fame inductee. Nnenna went on to become a professional runner and five-time member of Team USA after earning five NCAA titles (four team cross-country titles and one individual title in the 3000m). She retired from competitive running in 2000 and went on to pursue a career in economic and community development.
Nnenna is the founder and CEO of Xylem Projects, a New York City-based mission-driven real estate development firm. Xylem focuses on high-impact urban residential and mixed-use projects and is guided by four pillars: community enrichment, design, sustainability, and innovation. Before launching Xylem, Nnenna was managing principal and head of development at The Georgetown Company. As a senior advisor to NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg, she helped drive transformative initiatives and guide interagency teams with a collective budget of $5B and 20,000 employees. Nnenna began her career at Goldman Sachs.
Nnenna currently serves as co-president of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars (AARS). She is an independent director for Blackstone Mortgage Trust (BXMT). She also serves on the boards of Stake, a fintech startup focused on helping renters build wealth, and Northcrest Development, one of the largest developments in North America, backed by Canadian pension fund PSP Investments. She is a former trustee of Villanova University and a former board member of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA).
In recognition of her leadership, Nnenna was named the Edward P. Bass Distinguished Fellow at Yale School of Architecture and was the recipient of City & State New York’s Responsible 100 Award in 2019.
Nnenna graduated with a B.A. in sociology from Villanova University and received an M. Litt in anthropology from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. She resides in Harlem with her husband and two children.
Dean Bell, Vice Chair
Dean Bell is KPMG’s US Head of Deal Advisory & Strategy and the lead director of the KPMG US Board of Directors.
As the leader of Deal Advisory & Strategy, Dean leads a team of professionals who provide comprehensive M&A transaction support, guiding clients through deal strategy, due diligence, seamless post-close integration, and maximizing value creation. Dean has more than 25 years of experience in client services and integrates industry and functional expertise with advanced data, analytic, and AI capabilities to provide clients with innovative insights.
Dean was elected to the Board of KPMG in 2021, for a five-year term and currently serves as the U.S. lead director, guiding oversight of governance and compliance responsibilities for KPMG’s board. He helps ensure that growth, a clear strategy, integrity, and client centricity are the foundational elements of how KPMG achieves its aspirations as a firm.
A trusted connector and influential leader, Dean was recognized on Crain’s list of New York’s Notable M&A Dealmakers for 2025 and honored by Consulting Magazine in 2024 as a Top Consultant for Excellence in Leadership.
Dean also serves on the board of the Greenwich Boys and Girls Club. He was the 8th person in the world to run the original six Abbott World Marathon Majors races in the same year— at Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City—and has completed 32 marathons and counting!
Stacy Creamer
Stacy Creamer is a Vice President at Audible. She came to audio after a long career in print book publishing where, over the years, she worked as an acquiring editor at Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Hachette. Her New York Times bestsellers range from The Devil Wears Prada to Douglas Blackmon’s 2009 Pulitzer Prize-Winning Slavery By Another Name . She has edited works by John McEnroe, Lance Armstrong, Dara Torres, Ed Viesturs, Marla Runyan, and Lucille Ball.
Creamer is an avid runner and triathlete. She has been an NYRR member since the early eighties. She has competed for Central Park Track Club since 1987 and for Full Throttle Endurance, a local triathlon team, since 2010. Her PR for the 5K is 18:18, which she ran at age 40. She remains the record holder for the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon for the F50-54 age group. And she has run the Empire State Building Run-Up eleven times. Creamer is a graduate of Yale University (’81). She lives on the Upper West Side with her son Kieran.
Rob Dalto
Rob Dalto is a senior technology executive, committed runner, and community builder whose work bridges global running culture with grassroots impact in New York City. Rob currently serves as senior vice president of go-to-market at EquiLend, a leading securities finance technology company. With more than 15 years of experience in enterprise technology, he has built and scaled go-to-market functions at companies including Amazon Web Services and Databricks.
In 2023, Rob co-founded and serves as president of the Bronx Burners Run Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the South Bronx with a mission to create community and opportunity through sport. The Bronx Burners supports Bronx youth through academic scholarships, health and wellness programming, mentorship, and community-based social programming.
A longtime member of the New York running community, Rob has participated in New York Road Runners events for more than a decade. He has completed more than 40 marathons, including all Abbott World Marathon Majors four times.
Rob is also an active storyteller and connector within the global running community. Through his personal running journey, he has built a social media community of more than 130,000 focused on health, wellness, and community impact. He has worked with leading organizations across running, fitness, and endurance sports, giving him a unique perspective on how major platforms can engage athletes, brands, and communities.
Rob holds a B.A. from Gettysburg College and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Christine Dorfler
Christine Dorfler is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the National Football League. Christine leads the NFL’s Finance and League Strategy functions, and oversees 32 Equity, the NFL’s venture capital arm, NFL Network, and league digital assets such as NFL+. She reports directly to Commissioner Goodell. Dorfler works with the NFL’s senior leadership team, 32 clubs and dozens of business partners to continue positioning the league for long-term growth.
A 21-year veteran of NBCUniversal prior to joining the NFL, Dorfler was most recently the CFO of NBC Sports. There she oversaw all NFL media partnerships as well as contracts with the International Olympic Committee, NASCAR, English Premier League, PGA TOUR, college football and college basketball. She had a significant impact in modernizing NBCUniversal by expanding to a digital/streaming model.
Prior to her role at NBC Sports, Christine was CFO of the NBC and Telemundo Owned Television Stations. Dorfler joined NBCU from GE, where she was a member of the Junior Officer Leadership Program, as well as the Financial Management Program.
A United States Army Veteran who served as a Military Intelligence Officer, Dorfler supported NATO operations in Bosnia and Albania. Dorfler graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University, where she was a four-year starter on the Division I Women’s Lacrosse team and is now a member of the Board of Trustees. She received her MBA from Drexel University.
Dorfler resides in New Jersey with her husband Brian and three children.
Michael Gross
Micheal Gross is a co-founder of SLR Capital Partners, a leading independent private credit manager with $12.5 billion of investable capital. Founded in 2006, SLR primarily invests in U.S. middle market companies in the form of cash flow, asset-based, and specialty finance senior secured loans. SLR manages private credit funds, separately managed accounts, private business development companies (BDCs), and the publicly traded BDC, SLR Investment Corp. (Nasdaq: SLRC).
From 1990 to February 2006, Mr. Gross was a senior partner at Apollo Global Management, a leading private equity firm that he co-founded in 1990. Prior to his time at Apollo Management, L.P., Mr. Gross was employed by Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated.
Mr. Gross also serves as a Chairman of the Board of Mt. Sinai Children’s Center Foundation; Director of First Descents; Member of the Kellogg Global Advisory Board; and Member of the Ross School Advisory Board at the University of Michigan. Mr. Gross holds a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan and an M.M. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Gross is an avid runner having completed 20 consecutive New York City Marathons, including winning his age group in 2021.
Andrea Hagelgans
Andrea Hagelgans, a Partner & Reputation Management Group Co-Lead at Avoq in New York City, specializes in strategic and crisis communications and issue advocacy. She works with clients in corporate, government, and nonprofit spaces.
Before Avoq, Andrea served as managing director of U.S. social issues engagement at Edelman, where she advised CEOs and the full C-Suite of Fortune 100 companies on navigating complex social and political issues. Prior to Edelman, Andrea was appointed communications director and then senior advisor for strategic planning by former Mayor Bill de Blasio from 2014-2018, — making her the highest-ranking communications official to the former mayor. She has worked in-house at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and as a consultant to the national office and its affiliates.
Andrea is from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, but she and her husband have lived on the Upper West Side for more than 20 years. She is the mom to two boys and a dog. She has run 13 marathons with a personal best of 3:21 and recently completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors’ Six Stars series. She is also a NASM certified personal trainer.
Kerin Hempel
Kerin is the founder and managing director of Sparrow, a boutique advisory firm specializing in strategic counsel, transaction diligence, and executive support across industry sectors, including its distinctive sports practice. Kerin’s sports advisory work spans professional leagues, teams, ownership groups, major global events, and wellness and community initiatives. Additionally, Kerin is managing partner of Prossima Ventures, an investment platform dedicated to increasing women's ownership and leadership in professional sports.
Kerin has served in executive and advisory roles across sectors spanning finance, sports and entertainment, health and wellness, public policy, and philanthropy. Her previous leadership positions include serving as CEO of New York Road Runners from 2020-2022, where she helped navigate the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and celebrated the marathon’s triumphant return to the streets of NYC.
Kerin has been a featured speaker and contributor to numerous professional sports, health and wellness, community engagement, and urban development initiatives—both domestically and abroad. She is an active investor and advisor to multiple early-stage start-ups with a focus on women-led enterprises.
Kerin began her career at JPMorgan as a quantitative derivatives trader, and later as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. She is a graduate of Princeton University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and Harvard Business School, where she serves as an officer of the Global Alumni Board. She also serves on the board of the Running Industry Diversity Coalition.
A lifelong athlete and passionate long-distance runner, Kerin has been a member of NYRR since the 1990s and ran her first New York City Marathon in 1999. She resides in New York City with her husband, three children, and beloved dog.
Meera Joshi
Meera Joshi is a nationally recognized public sector executive, and a transportation and infrastructure leader with more than 25 years of experience overseeing complex government, infrastructure, mobility, and public service organizations. She currently serves as president of Green-Wood Cemetery, where she leads the strategic direction, operations, stewardship, and financial management of one of New York City's most significant historic and cultural institutions, overseeing a $30 million annual budget and more than $400 million in assets.
Prior to Green-Wood, Meera served as New York City's Deputy Mayor for Operations, overseeing major infrastructure, sanitation, municipal construction, climate, and public realm initiatives across agencies with combined annual budgets exceeding $20 billion. She also served as deputy administrator and presidential nominee for administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, leading the nation's truck and bus safety agency during a critical period for the national supply chain.
As chair and CEO of the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, she pioneered nationally recognized policies on Vision Zero, driver pay protections, accessibility, and data-driven regulation of app-based transportation services. A lawyer by training and a frequent advisor on transportation, worker protection, and urban policy, she serves on several nonprofit and corporate boards and has received numerous honors for her contributions to public service, good governance, and urban mobility.
Laura M. Kirk
Laura M. Kirk is a Managing Director and Head of Private Investments, Capital Formation & Investor Relations at Wellington Management Company.
As head of capital formation and investor relations, Laura is responsible for the commercial strategy for Wellington's private investment platform, leading client and fundraising initiatives as well as product development and strategy.
Before joining Wellington Management in 2024, Laura was a managing director at Goldman Sachs and most recently served in the executive office as chief of staff to the firm’s president and chief operating officer. Prior to that, she held various leadership roles within Asset & Wealth Management, helping to establish the alternatives capital formation team charged with growing the firm’s proprietary alternatives products (2020 – 2023), and as a member of the external manager selection business overseeing the platform of long-only asset managers for Goldman’s institutional and high-net worth clients (2010 – 2020). Prior to Goldman Sachs, she was at Neuberger Berman where she worked on institutional asset allocation and investment strategy. She began her career at Lehman Brothers in private wealth management, working with advisors to source corporate transactions for the firm.
Laura holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Association designation.
Laura is a native New Yorker, a former collegiate rower, and an avid distance runner. She lives in New York City with her husband and three children.
Jed Laskowitz
Jed Laskowitz, managing director, is responsible for J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Private Markets investment teams including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, transportation, timberland, special situations, and absolute return fixed income. These teams manage ~$220 billion in assets for institutions and individuals. Jed is also responsible for Customized Solutions, which includes J.P. Morgan’s Global ETF business, a leading active ETF manager with over $300 billion in assets; Customized Managed Account Solutions; and 55ip, a J.P. Morgan Company. These teams oversee over $500 billion and are responsible for delivering tax-smart technology, separate accounts, and model portfolios to investment advisors and wealth platforms globally.
Since joining the firm in 1996, Jed has held a range of leadership roles, including chief investment officer and global head of asset management solutions from 2019 to 2024. He previously served as CEO of Intelligent Digital Solutions, overseeing the firm’s global digital wealth management team and asset and wealth management’s data science effort. From 2012 to 2015, he served as CEO of AM Asia Pacific. Jed is a member of the asset and wealth management operating committee, the asset management operating committee, and the asset management investment committee.
Jed holds a BA from Ithaca College and a JD with honors from Brooklyn Law School, and is a member of the New York State Bar. He serves on the board of directors and the executive committee of New York Road Runners. He is a member of the Cohen Children’s Medical Center advisory board at Northwell Health and an advisory board member for the financial technology companies InvestCloud and TIFIN Group.
Cathy Lasry
Cathy Lasry currently sits on NYRR’s Advisory Council. She previously served on the boards of The Roundabout Theater Company, Only Make Believe, and Clark University, where she attended college and met her husband, Marc.
In addition, Cathy is very active in Democratic politics and was the President of Eleanor’s Legacy, where she also trained Democratic women to run for office. She previously worked as a young adult book editor and was the author of several young adult novels. Cathy and her husband, Marc, live on the Upper West Side, overlooking the Marathon finish line. They have five children and four grandchildren.
Adrienne Lotson
The Honorable Adrienne R. Lotson, Ph.D., has served more than 16 years in a variety of adjudicatory roles for the state and city of New York. Currently, she serves as an impartial hearing officer in the Special Education Hearing Division of the City of New York’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH). Dr. Lotson’s legal career includes stints at the Women’s Sports Foundation, National Collegiate Athletic Association, and Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games.
A dedicated alumna, Dr. Lotson is a former president of the Dartmouth College Alumni Council, providing leadership to over 82,000 global alumni during the college’s 250th Anniversary season. Adrienne took up distance running to fulfill a bucket list desire to run a marathon for her 50th birthday. Three marathons and countless half-marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks later, she continues to race her way around the world, having traveled to 46 states and 44 countries (and counting).
A proud member of Black Girls Run (BGR), Galloway NYC, and Latinas in Motion, Dr. Lotson also serves on the board of the Aspire Higher Foundation, where she chairs the Strategic Planning Committee.
Dr. Lotson earned her A.B. at Dartmouth College, J.D. at UC Berkeley School of Law, M.Div. at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), and M.Phil./Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology with a focus on media and the performing arts at the Graduate Center (CUNY). A performance artist/storyteller, Dr. Lotson resides in New York City.
Jordan Metzl
Jordan D. Metzl, MD, is a sports medicine physician at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City where he provides comprehensive care for athletes of all ages and levels, from recreational enthusiasts to elite professionals. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Metzl is a passionate advocate for the importance of exercise in promoting overall health and well-being. He is a frequent lecturer at medical and public conferences where he shares his insights on the benefits of physical activity and provides practical tips for injury prevention and rehabilitation. In addition to lecturing about the role of physical activity for health promotion, he founded the Ironstrength fitness community, one of the first physician-led fitness initiatives that provides free fitness classes for more than 10,000 people annually.
Dr. Metzl is also a prolific author, having written several books on topics ranging from exercise science to injury prevention. His works include "The Exercise Cure", "The Athlete's Book of Home Remedies", and "Running Strong", all of which blend together medical expertise, practical advice, and motivational insights.
In addition to his clinical practice and writing, Dr. Metzl is actively involved in research aimed at advancing our understanding of sports-related injuries and improving treatment outcomes. He hopes to empower others to achieve their fitness and health goals and live life to the fullest. He has run 40 marathons and 15 IRONMAN triathlons and hopes to continue to run for many years to come. He lives in New York City.
Donna Ross Daniels
Donna Daniels is an attorney and was previously a managing director at EY. She brings over 25 years of global executive experience in legal, compliance, and risk management. She has served in various leadership positions, including in general counsel and chief compliance officer roles at major global financial institutions such as Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank. Donna has led large, diverse teams, managed complex budgets, and worked closely with regulators and executive stakeholders across the U.S. and internationally.
Currently, Donna serves on the boards of Legal Services NYC and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and previously served on the board of the Drama League. Her experience on these boards includes executive committee and treasurer roles overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets. She also actively supports philanthropic initiatives through the Central Park Conservancy Women’s Committee.
Donna has a J.D. from Boston University and a B.A. in Political Science/Psychology from the University of Illinois, where she supports its adapted athletic programs. Donna was born in Chicago, moved to New York with her husband Tom, and equally loves both cities. They and their children are avid runners, having collectively completed 60+ marathons, including numerous New York City Marathons, and have been active supporters of Team for Kids and the MEB Foundation. She and her husband are eight-star Abbott World Marathon Majors finishers.
Amber Sabathia
Amber Sabathia is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, published columnist, public speaker, and contributing editor.
Having grown up in the inner city and been raised by a single mom, Amber learned early on to follow her dream and that anything is possible. With this core value at the forefront, she co-founded the PitCCh In Foundation to enrich the lives of at-risk youth in inner cities. She also manages several business projects including being the creator and designer of CCandy Clothing™, a unique line of clothing for children.
Amber graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and earned a Certificate of Philanthropy at Heyman College at New York University. She is married to her high school sweetheart, CC Sabathia, six-time All-Star and Cy Young Award-winning pitcher for the New York Yankees. Amidst all her success, Amber’s greatest accomplishment is being a mom to four amazing children.
Travis Sampson
Travis Sampson focuses on digital infrastructure deployment, network architecture, virtual environments, and operational efficiency for Hollywood Park Management portfolio properties. In parallel, he serves as a trusted strategic advisor to the C-suite and ownership, expertly breaking down structural silos to orchestrate cross-functional execution and align multi-platform engineering outputs with core business units. He also advises organizations on artificial intelligence and venue technology, providing entertainment ecosystems with guidance in translating complex technical capabilities into quantifiable revenue drivers, market differentiators, and fiscally governed risk-mitigation strategies.
Travis currently serves as senior vice president and chief technology officer of Hollywood Park Management. Prior to joining Hollywood Park, Travis was most recently the executive vice president and CTO at BSE Global and a leading architect of the "Netaverse" digital player platform. Prior to being appointed EVP, he served as a key technical figure for AEG Facilities during the 2012 technology integration for Barclays Center, establishing foundational venue architecture benchmarks. Travis joined the sports and entertainment technology sector following technical roles at the National Basketball Association and Viacom Media International.
Travis spends his innovative energies leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to reshape the future of venue-based entertainment through data-driven insights and real-time fan engagement.
Mitchell Silver, FAICP, Hon. ASLA
Mitchell is an award-winning planner with over 40 years of experience. He is internationally recognized for his leadership and contributions to contemporary planning issues. Mitchell is a prolific public speaker and strategic advisor specializing in urban planning, parks, placemaking, and implementation strategies. Known by his colleagues as a passionate communicator, creative thinker, problem-solver, and visionary leader, Mitchell has been at the center of many cutting-edge trends, transformative solutions, and visionary plans in the U.S. and abroad.
Mitchell served as commissioner of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, a principal at McAdams planning and design firm, chief planning officer in Raleigh, NC, president of the American Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners, and president/co-chair of the City Parks Alliance.
He was selected to Planetizen’s list of the 100 Most Influential Urbanists in the world. In addition, he has been honored as one of the top 100 City Innovators in the world by UBM Future Cities, and the Urban Times named him one of the top international thought leaders of the built environment. He was also selected by Avenue Magazine as one of five urbanists on New York City’s Power List.
Mitchell is an avid runner. He started running for physical and mental health reasons. He is an outspoken advocate for creating healthy communities.
Eu-Gene Sung, Treasurer
Eu-Gene is a chief financial officer with extensive experience in media and entertainment, technology, and professional services. She is currently consulting and doing fractional CFO work. Prior to that, she was CFO at GLG, an expert insight network to the world's leading investors and consultants. Earlier, she was CFO at BSE Global, overseeing the finance department for BSE's venues and teams, including Barclays Center, the NBA's Brooklyn Nets and the WNBA's New York Liberty. In that role, she also managed the data and analytics, operations and facilities, and technology departments and led the financial execution of the company's $3B sale. Prior to this, Eu-Gene spent nearly 11 years with Interpublic Group in various finance roles and was most recently CFO of McCann New York, an award-winning advertising agency, where she drove all commercial aspects of client relationships in scope, incremental projects, staffing, and working capital management to maximize cash flow. She began her career at J.P. Morgan as an investment banking analyst and research associate.
Crain's New York named her one of the Notable Women in the Business of Sports in 2019.
Eu-Gene received a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and an MBA from INSEAD. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and her two children, Tristan and Sydney.
Roslyn Tom
Roslyn Tom is a seasoned corporate lawyer and business partner with more than 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, transformative transactions, and governance. As the Global Head of Transactions, Legal at Bloomberg L.P., she advises senior business leaders on the significant issues they face when analyzing corporate business opportunities. She also examines the full spectrum of commercial and regulatory challenges affecting the growth of a company, including strategy, risk management, human capital, compliance, fiduciary duties, and governance. In addition, Roslyn advises Bloomberg’s venture capital team (Bloomberg Beta) on its investment portfolio at each stage of the corporate life cycle, from pre-seed to priced equity rounds to exits.
Prior to Bloomberg, Roslyn was a partner at Baker & McKenzie LLP and Dewey Ballantine LLP, and an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell. Roslyn is a native New Yorker and graduated from Yale Law School, Harvard College, and Stuyvesant High School. Roslyn also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The John Jay College Foundation, Inc. and is a member of its Audit Committee.
Roslyn is an avid marathon runner, has completed eight Abbott World Marathon Majors races, and has been a member of NYRR since 2016.
Barbara Trencher
Barbara Trencher is a doctor of physical therapy, attorney, nonprofit leader, consultant, and endurance athlete whose work centers on the power of movement to heal and connect communities. She is the co-founder and executive director of CancerFIT: Evidence Based Exercise, which delivers evidence-based exercise oncology programs for cancer patients and survivors in partnership with major New York City medical centers. She is also a lecturer in the Columbia University Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine (Physical Therapy), helping train future physical therapists and expand access to exercise oncology initiatives, and a consultant for Aktiv Against Cancer, the exercise oncology organization founded by six-time New York City Marathon champion Grete Waitz.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Barbara had a distinguished legal career in complex litigation, white collar criminal defense, and regulatory enforcement, including serving as a principal at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello PC, executive director of compliance at JPMorgan Chase, and law clerk to the Honorable Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
An engaged community leader, Barbara has held board and volunteer roles with CancerFIT, school and neighborhood organizations, and patient advisory councils. An accomplished endurance athlete, she has completed nine marathons (including four TCS New York City Marathons), major cycling and climbing events, and numerous road races, collectively raising over $100,000 for charities such as Team for Kids, Fred’s Team, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, CUIMC Herbert Irving Cancer Center, the American Cancer Society, and Blood Cancer United.
Barbara earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, where she was a Columbia Commons Scholar. She holds a J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School and an A.B. in history from Stanford University.
Judy Turchin, Secretary
Judy Turchin most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer and member of the Office of the CEO of Equinox, a global lifestyle brand with 100+ locations. In her role as COO, Ms. Turchin drove the operational and financial strength of Equinox globally - overseeing the performance of its various businesses including sales, operations, personal training, group fitness, retail, and spa services.
Ms. Turchin is currently the Founder of JPT Partners, a global advisory firm, whose clients have included North Castle, TSG Consumer and Delos. Ms. Turchin also serves as an Independent Director for several private equity sponsored companies including: Suntex (Centerbridge), OVME (VMG), CenterWell (Welsh Carson) and Mint House (Revolution and Mohari).
Prior to joining Equinox, Ms. Turchin spent 8 years as a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group at Blackstone holding various senior roles. Prior to Blackstone, she was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity. Ms. Turchin began her career as a lawyer with the firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
Juan Uro
Juan Uro is a partner at Ernst & Young (EY), where he serves as the EY Americas strategic relationships office leader, as well as the EY Americas leader for The Center for Executive Leadership. In his role, Juan fosters connections to client boards and C-suite executives. He leverages his extensive market relationships and client service experience to bring sophisticated and informed insights to clients and EY teams. With over 20 years of experience advising and working with CEOs, CFOs, and other senior executives, Juan brings deep knowledge in corporate finance, strategy, and large-scale transformations. As the leader of the EY Center for Executive Leadership, he has played a pivotal role in guiding Fortune 500 C-suite leaders through some of their most critical decisions—spanning value creation, strategic mergers and acquisitions, customer experience enhancement, and digital transformation.
Prior to joining EY, Juan served as Executive Vice President, League Finance & Global Strategy at the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he led the League Finance department as well as the Global Strategy department. Juan also served as Partner at McKinsey & Company and during his time at McKinsey, he helped numerous Fortune 100 companies develop and implement top management strategy, finance, and operations best practices. He cultivated and developed trust-based relationships with many C-suite executives and served them across a variety of business problems.
Before his tenure at McKinsey & Company, Juan served as an economic advisor at Argentina’s Ministry of Economy. Juan graduated from Argentina’s Universidad Nacional de la Plata with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics. He also earned a Master’s in Finance at Argentina’s Universidad Torcuato di Tella before earning an MBA in Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School. Juan also serves on the Board of Directors of US Soccer Federation.
Alice Vilma
Alice Vilma is managing director of the Multicultural Client Strategy team at Morgan Stanley, where she works to strengthen the company's connection to the multicultural business community by identifying, developing, and executing commercial opportunities with corporate, government, and individual clients. She is also the co‐head of the Morgan Stanley Multicultural Innovation Lab, an accelerator that invests in and supports tech and tech‐enabled startups with a multicultural or woman founder.
Vilma has spent her career in the financial services industry and worked at Sallie Mae in the Strategic Planning and Corporate Development group before attending business school. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was an assistant vice president in the Communications, Media, and Entertainment Group at CIT, where she spent her time advising clients on and making investments in production- and content-related companies in the entertainment sector.
Vilma has over 15 years of structured finance experience across various asset classes and sectors, executing over $25 billion of securitization, structured finance, and equity transactions over that time. She graduated cum laude with a BBA in finance from the University of Miami and received her MBA from Harvard Business School.

A passionate advocate for endurance sports and mental resilience, Randi has completed 21 marathons and 17 ultramarathons—all in her 40s as a mother of three. She is a two-time finisher of the Cocodona 250, a 250-mile ultramarathon through the Arizona desert.
