Shaden is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants who grew up in refugee camps. An entrepreneur, activist, and small business owner, she has dedicated her career to financially empowering other Palestinians and runs in a hijab to increase visibility and representation for the Muslim community.

“There is a Palestinian proverb that reads ‘they planted so we could eat, and we plant so those after us can eat.’ Every step I take on November 1st is possible because of what my family and community gave up for me, and being part of Team Inspire means carrying that forward by planting seeds for a future I may never see, but that others will get to live in.”
