 Sarah was diagnosed with stage IV endometriosis in 2024 after a series of painful and mysterious symptoms. She has since undergone two major surgeries, including gallbladder removal, a total hysterectomy, and bowel resection. She is running her first-ever marathon with Team EndoStrong to raise funds and awareness for the Endometriosis Foundation.

What does it mean to be part of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon Team Inspire?

“Being a part of Team Inspire means turning my journey with Stage IV Endometriosis into an opportunity to raise awareness, advocate, and fund critical research through the Endometriosis Foundation of America. I am a runner for Team EndoStrong and running my first marathon. I hope to show fellow endo warriors that a diagnosis does not define our limits and that every step forward can inspire change!”
