Race Details
Open to all, it’s a celebration of running’s profound impact on mental well-being. Complete 31 total miles anywhere, anytime between May 1 and May 31. You can choose to run as many miles as you wish on any given day over the course of the month—it’s up to you as long your miles equal 31!

The challenge will be marked as complete and credits will be granted in your NYRR dashboard by Thursday, June 4.

Notes on Registration
Runners must complete the full 31 mile distance in the dates given for the Virtual NYRR Mental Health Awareness Month Challenge and upload the activity or activities to Strava. Please note: Your activity must be a GPS upload. Manual uploads, treadmill runs, and activities where friends have “tagged” you are not supported and will not be counted toward your result.
Runners who previously had or currently have a Strava subscription cannot redeem a 30-day trial. Runners cannot redeem a Strava subscription trial more than once on their account. Learn more on Strava’s website.

A virtual race is a race that can be run at your convenience during a specified period of time. To participate in NYRR Virtual Racing Powered by Strava, create your free Strava account, sign up for a race, and run or walk the distance of the race on a course you select wherever you are. Race Day Information
Race-Day Number Pickup Policy
Check back soon for more details.
Bib pickup will close 10 minutes after the start time of the race. Runners arriving to pick up their bib after that time will not be issued a bib and will not receive 9+1 credit for the race.
Bag Check
Check back closer to the race for more details.
Planning to check a bag on race morning? While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at number pickup, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, with the tag affixed. Only clear bags may be checked at bag check; we are unable to check opaque bags of any size.
NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.
