Get into the spirit of the season by bringing your kids to a festive run in Prospect Park!
Calling all kids to join us for the final Rising New York Road Runners event of the year, celebrating the holiday spirit and community. After crossing the finish line, they can enjoy hot chocolate and celebrate their accomplishments alongside new friends.
Registration is FREE and open to participants ages 2–18 of all abilities. Participants will receive a New Balance souvenir (while supplies last).

Register for participants ages 2 to 11 that are new to running and physical activity, for non-competitive short dashes. This event is NOT a 9+1 program qualifier.

Register for participants ages 8 to 18 for an untimed, non-competitive .5 mile run. This event is NOT a 9+1 program qualifier.

Register for participants ages 12 to 18 for a timed and competitive 1-mile race. This event is NOT a 9+1 program qualifier.

After the conclusion of the event, official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org. Awards will be presented on race day to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Stage 3 finishers in the girl, boy, and nonbinary categories. Awards will only be distributed at the race finish.

If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, parents/guardians will be informed as soon as possible. Events will not be rescheduled.
