From one race in New York in 2009 to a global movement, RBC Race for the Kids has grown into a series of 25+ family-friendly races worldwide. Over 415,000 participants have raised more than $100 million USD to support youth charities across the globe.

Now, it's your kid’s turn to join the fun at the Rising New York Road Runners at the RBC Race for the Kids event!

Registration for this event is FREE and open to participants ages 2 to 11 of all abilities. Every finisher will receive a New Balance T-shirt. Please note that souvenirs are subject to availability.

    Rising New York Road Runners strives to host inclusive, sustainable, and accessible events that enable all individuals to engage. We welcome all young participants with disabilities, including but not limited to, participants that use wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and other mobility devices.   • Notes on Registration

    We’ve updated our website to increase inclusivity and representation in our races. Parents/guardians can register youth runners as girl, boy, or nonbinary. Visit our FAQ page for more information on how to update your profile.

  • Race Number Pickup

    Race numbers may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues) in advance of the event, on the following dates:

    • Saturday, June 28, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
    • Sunday, June 29, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

    ** The NYRR RUNCENTER will be closed from Monday, June 30, 2025, to Friday, July 4, 2025, for the Independence Day holiday. **

    • Saturday, July 5, 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
    • Sunday, July 6, 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
    • Monday, July 7, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, July 8, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday, July 9, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Thursday, July 10, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Friday, July 11, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

    Parents and guardians of runners are encouraged to pick up race numbers at the NYRR RUNCENTER to avoid race-day lines.

    Stage 1: On race day, number pickup will be available from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Race-Day Central, located at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park.

    If you plan to pick up a runner's race number on race day, please arrive at least 60 minutes before the start of their run.

  • Schedule of Events

    Stage 1: Participants should report to the staging area (starts separated by age group) 10 minutes before the start of their run. Please note that Stage 1 dashes will start on a rolling schedule; refer to the estimated start times listed below.
