Race Details
This special race and festival is the highlight of NYRR’s Member Week celebration. Race on the same course where Grete won her five New York Mini 10K titles—setting road race world records in 1979 and 1980—and where she ran the final miles of her record nine New York City Marathon victories. Grete later became the founding chair of the NYRR Foundation, which has evolved into NYRR Community Impact.
Registration is open only for NYRR members. Please log into your account to register for this race. Runners must have an active NYRR membership at the time of registration.
*Don't forget to use your Mastercard—our proud payment partner.

This list is full.
The Member-Only Standby List is a perk for NYRR members who are willing to participate in an NYRR race if entries become available after registration has closed. These individuals will be invited to register for the race on a first-come, first-served basis.

NYRR Race Free
We at New York Road Runners believe running should be accessible to everyone. To help, we created NYRR Race Free to provide race fee assistance to those who qualify financially.
In 2024, we offered 1,000+ program slots and more than 3,000 complimentary race entries, including for the TCS New York City Marathon. Race Free applications that met the eligibility criteria were pooled based on previous participation and selected by borough or zip code until all slots were filled.
Check out the Race Free page this summer for updates on the 2026 application period. (Please note runners apply in 2025 for races in the calendar year of 2026.)
