Race Details

The 2025 New Balance Bronx 10 Mile promises to be a celebration and one to remember for all runners and their cheer squads on the course!

The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile is the fifth event of our Five-Borough Series races—a celebration of what makes each borough unique and inspiring. This race serves as a 9+1 qualifier for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon and as a 4 Out of 6 program qualifier for the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half.

Member-Only Standby List

This Member-Only Standby List is full.

The Member-Only Standby List is a perk for NYRR members who are willing to participate in an NYRR race if entries become available after registration has closed. These individuals will be invited to register for the race on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Guide or Support Runner Request

    If you are an Athlete with Disability who needs a guide or support runner to participate in a NYRR event, please follow the process explained here. To request to register a support runner, the runner must fill out the following form. All requests must be placed by runners at least two weeks prior to the event.

  • Notes on Registration

    • Review the NYRR policy on start and finish cutoff times here.
    • Runners can register as woman, man, or non-binary. Visit our FAQ page for more information on how to update your profile.
    • If you wish to pay in cash for your race entry, please reach out to our Runner Services team for assistance. Please be sure to include the event name and the email associated with your NYRR account.
    • This race is a 9+1 program qualifier.
  • Race Free

    We at New York Road Runners believe running should be accessible to everyone. To help, we created NYRR Race Free to provide race fee assistance to those who qualify financially.

    In 2024, we offered 1,000+ program slots and more than 3,000 complimentary race entries, including for the TCS New York City Marathon. Race Free applications that met the eligibility criteria were pooled based on previous participation and selected by borough or zip code until all slots were filled.

    Check out the Race Free page this summer for updates on the 2026 application period. (Please note runners apply in 2025 for races in the calendar year of 2026.)

  • Course Strategy

    Join us in person at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub for the New Balance Bronx 10M Course Strategy event on Thursday, September 11 at 6:00 p.m. as NYRR coaches will share tips and tricks on how to conquer the race.

  • Race Number Pickup

    Numbers (which include your timing tag) may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on the following dates:

    • Saturday, August 30, 9:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
    • Sunday, August 31, 9:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

    **The RUNCENTER will be closed on Monday, September 1 for Labor Day**

    • Tuesday, September 2, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday, September 3, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
    • Thursday, September 4, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

    **The RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub will close at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 5th**

    Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines.

    All participants will receive a New Balance short sleeve t-shirt at number pickup. Your shirt size may not be available at the time of bib pickup.

    On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central (located on River Avenue, between 157th and 153rd Streets).

    Show your race confirmation email or the QR code from your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Proxy bib pickup is available for this race, so a friend or family member can pick up your race materials. The person will need the QR code for your NYRR account, along with a form of photo identification that corresponds to your NYRR account.

More Race Info

  • Cancellation Policy

    If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.

    No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.

  • 4 Out of 6 Program

    The 4 Out of 6 program allows NYRR members who meet the eligibility requirements to gain guaranteed entry to the United Airlines NYC Half.

    Eligibility for entry to the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who complete four qualifying events in 2025 and have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2025 4 Out of 6 program (the NYRR Staten Island Half on TBD).

    The following races in 2025 will count toward 4 Out of 6 program qualification for the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half (Please note all dates are pending permit approval and subject to change):

    • NYRR Manhattan 10K (February 2)
    • Virtual United Airlines NYC Half Medal (March 8–16)
    • United Airlines NYC Half (March 16)
    • Virtual RBC Brooklyn Half Medal (May 10-17)
    • RBC Brooklyn Half (May 17)
    • Citizens Queens 10K (June 14)
    • New Balance Bronx 10 Mile (September 14)
    • NYRR Staten Island Half (October 12)
