NEW for this Race! Reusable Cups

Following a successful 2024 pilot, NYRR will continue its partnership with Cup Zero to reduce single-use waste. Reusable hydration cups will be available at the Mastercard New York Mini 10K – Women’s Race and other select races throughout the year.

Runners are strongly encouraged to return their cups to the designated receptacles in the post-finish area. NYRR volunteers will be available to assist. Returning the cup ensures it can be cleaned and reused—supporting both the environment and the program’s success.

Race Free applications that met the eligibility criteria were pooled based on previous participation and selected by borough or zip code until all slots were filled.

Check out the Race Free page this summer for updates on the 2026 application period. (Please note runners apply in 2025 for races in the calendar year of 2026.)
