Barbara Trencher, PT, DPT, JD, is the Director of Programming at AKTIV Against Cancer, where she advances evidence-based exercise programs for cancer patients and survivors. Barbara is also a lecturer in the Columbia University Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine, helping train future physical therapists and expand access to exercise oncology initiatives, and she oversees fitness classes for patients at NYU’s Perlmutter Cancer Center. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Road Runners and is an accomplished endurance athlete.
