The world is rich with diversity, which is reflected in the observances and recognitions celebrated by its various cultures, religions, and populations.
These are a few observances in September and October, from local to international:

SEPTEMBER
Intergenerational Month
National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

OCTOBER
National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)
Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Global Diversity Awareness Month
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
LGBTQ+ History Month
Filipino American History Month
Polish American Heritage Month
Italian American Heritage & Culture Month

Hispanic Heritage Month, also known as Latinx Heritage Month, celebrates the contributions of Hispanic/Latinx Americans to events in U.S. history and contemporary society.

From September 15 through October 15, we'll share stories from our Hispanic/Latinx running community. Check out content from our blog and our Set the Pace podcast at the links below. We'll add more inspiring stories and resources throughout the month.
