Running clubs, crews, and collectives are increasingly popular in and around NYC. Running with a club or crew provides camaraderie and is a great way to meet and get to know like-minded people.

Some running clubs and crews in NYC center on Black and Brown identity or include many Black and Brown members. Black-centered run clubs can help Black runners find representation and community. You can find profiles of some of those groups at the links below.

Check out these and other clubs throughout Black History Month—and all year long—through their social media and websites. Find out how they’re celebrating and honoring Black History Month and how to get involved. Most groups offer opportunities to attend a run or workout, and those who join may have the opportunity to represent the group at races, volunteer, and more.
