The 2026 United Airlines NYC Half was the largest half marathon in NYRR history as more than 30,000 runners celebrated the start of the spring racing season. This year's race saw event records and title defenses in the pro fields on a course that crossed the Brooklyn Bridge for the second time in NYRR race history.

Over 1,500 kids of all ages and abilities stopped traffic at the Times Square Kids Run at the United Airlines NYC Half, running various distances alongside adults in one of New York City's most iconic spaces!

At the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half Expo Presented by New Balance, NYRR members got more in the NYRR 360 Expo Space. Members visited the Membership Newsstand to connect with the membership team, attended Member Spotlights at the Running Lab Stage between course strategy sessions, heard from fellow members about their running and membership experiences, and picked up tips to carry into race day. Legacy members also gathered for a special reception, reconnecting with staff and fellow runners while honoring their longstanding commitment to NYRR and the sport.
