Dave Obelkevich

RESIDENCE: NEW YORK

Dave is the longest-running New York City Marathon Streaker, and the only person to have completed every single New York City Marathon since it first expanded to all five boroughs in 1976. Dave’s streak has endured through broken ribs and a leg-threatening popliteal aneurysm in 2020.

What are you most excited about for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic 5-boro marathon course?
