Running MottoRivky is a passionate runner and RRCA-certified running coach. She's completed more than 20 marathons, including the Boston Marathon. Not only does she love running, but she also swims and bikes, and completed several Ironman Triathlon races. Rivky is the founder of WRun, a running club for women in Brooklyn. She's helped hundreds of women find joy in running and become lifelong runners. Rivky coaches runners of all skill levels, from those starting with a 5K race to those setting new personal bests in marathons. Rivky loves everything about running: the community, the races, and how it's changed her life. She believes that with the right training and consistency, any runner can significantly improve their performance. She brings this passion and belief to her coaching, helping runners reach their goals.
How would you describe your coaching style?
My coaching style is all about flexibility and focusing on each runner's unique path. I set clear, achievable goals and supports runners to make consistent, steady progress. With my encouraging and motivational approach, I emphasize the importance of patience and sticking with it for long-term success.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
Watching a struggling runner finally achieve a personal best.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
Hill Repeats. It requires mental toughness. Helps to build lower body strength and power. Running uphill naturally encourages proper form and technique.
