Running MottoNomi’s journey began with a cold 10K race in Central Park back in January 2016. She was hooked, and the love for running led her to become a coach. Helping others is her greatest joy, and she aspires to inspire through her own running odyssey. For Nomi, running is not just a physical pursuit; it’s therapy that has reached every aspect of her life. She strives to be the catalyst for someone else’s journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
How would you describe your coaching style?
My coaching philosophy centers on foundational development, motivating individuals to establish a strong base. Through consistent encouragement, I empower them to overcome challenges and celebrate their successes.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
Bringing smiles, motivation, and support to runners every day reflects the profound impact I have as a coach. Being a source of inspiration and helping individuals pursue their running dreams, regardless of size.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
My favorite workout is a tempo run. It’s an effective workout for building both physical and mental strength, helping runners improve their lactate threshold and overall pace. The sustained effort at a comfortably hard pace can simulate race conditions and enhance endurance.
