How would you describe your coaching style?
My coaching style focuses on emphasizing proper form and biomechanics. I believe that efficient, injury-resistant running starts with mastering the fundamentals of proper movement.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
My proudest coaching moment happened while in college, watching multiple athletes I paced in workouts for multiple years compete at the NCAA Track & Field national championships.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
My favorite workout to coach (and run myself) is Pre's 200s because it's a great blend of speed, endurance, and mental fortitude. The workout consists of running non-stop 200m repeats alternating hard for 200, easy for 200 until your pace starts to fall off. I love how it challenges runners to maintain intensity while managing fatigue, building both physical and mental resilience. It's a great way to practice change of pace and sharpen overall speed.
