Running MottoJimmy is a competitive distance runner of 10+ years and primarily focuses his own training on the marathon. He has a team sport background including football, baseball, and soccer and often looks to incorporate cross training into his routine. Although Jimmy enjoys achieving time goals when racing, he is motivated by the running community around him and now looks to cultivate that as a coach with NYRR.

How would you describe your coaching style?
Supportive and adoptive. Runners have different backgrounds, needs, goals...and some of those change over time.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
Coaching someone to a marathon personal best and first Boston Marathon qualifying time.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
Mile repeats! It's a great workout for every distance that allows you to work hard, but chat in-between reps.
