Running MottoIan started training and competing in running in 2010 after many years of road and cyclocross bike racing. His enthusiasm for running has seen him tackle races of distances ranging from 5K to 50K on roads and trails. While fairly new to formal coaching, Ian has been a student of endurance training for years and has helped guide several runners along the way to reaching their goals.
How would you describe your coaching style?
Looking at every runner as a unique individual and doing the best to understand how to help and motivate an athlete while always being supportive.
What is your proudest coaching moment?
Seeing an athlete overcome self-doubt and achieve a goal they've worked hard for.
What is your favorite workout to coach and why?
The long run, because it's physically and mentally challenging.
