Celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture at this four-mile race in Central Park, now in its 11th year. The race and accompanying kids' races are part of Japan Day at Central Park, which starts immediately after the Japan Run and features a variety of Japanese food, activities, and stage performances over the course of the day.

The Airbnb Brooklyn Half, the largest half-marathon in the country, is an iconic 13.1-mile journey through the amazing borough of Brooklyn. The race starts near the Brooklyn Museum and ends at a finish line on the Coney Island Boardwalk. The Airbnb Brooklyn Half is part of NYRR's Five-Borough Series: Run New York. Five Boroughs. Hundreds of boys and girls, many of them from New York Road Runners' youth programs, will run a mile on the Coney Island Boardwalk, one of Brooklyn’s most iconic landmarks.

Airbnb Brooklyn Half Long Training Run Hosted by New Balance

Training for the Airbnb Brooklyn Half on May 20? Join us for a 10-mile training run starting at Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, the same place you’ll pick up your bib at the Airbnb Brooklyn Half Pre-Party Presented by New Balance during race week. The run will finish at the NYRR RUNCENTER, where attendees can enjoy brunch (with live DJ) hosted by New Balance.
NYRR NYC Running History Tour

Get a taste of the Big Apple’s vibrant past on the NYRR NYC Running History Tour, leaving from the NYRR RUNCenter. Coaches will guide runners at a comfortable 10-minute mile pace past various landmarks significant to the city’s running history, including the Fred Lebow statue and the location of the iconic TCS New York City Marathon finish line. Runners may use the changing rooms at the NYRR RUNCenter to stash their bags in one of the day lockers for the tour.

NYRR Family Running Class
