TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON

The media credentials application for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1 is open and will close on Wednesday, October 14. Applying for a media credential does not guarantee approval or receipt of credential.

To be approved for media credentials, applicants must be working media members on an editorial assignment (e.g. TV news, newspaper, podcast, magazine, or website). Media credentials are not for content creators, documentarians, or those interested in filming other special projects. The special projects application can be found here.

Media can apply for credentials two ways:

1. Apply as a GROUP MANAGER. All Group Manager accreditation requests must be submitted by an authorized representative of a news organization, such as a supervisor, assignment manager, editor, or producer, and they must apply for credentials on behalf of all individuals at their organization. Only one Group Manager request per news organization may be submitted. Media can apply as a Group Manager here. 
2. Apply as an INDIVIDUAL. If you are an individual working member of the media on an editorial assignment, please submit the individual media member form. Please check with your organization’s supervisor, assignment manager, editor, or producer to ensure you are not already included as part of your media organization’s credential application.
