WHO:
Tatyana McFadden, an NYRR Team for Kids Ambassador who has won the last three consecutive – and four overall – New York City Marathons. She is a 17-time Paralympic medalist, most recently winning four gold and two silver medals at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
25 NYRR Mighty Milers –able-bodied and with a physical disability – from
PS 333, Manhattan School for Children. NYRR Mighty Milers is a free running program for kids of all fitness levels from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, designed to get kids moving and prevent obesity and illness. Participation in Mighty Milers helps kids build their self-esteem and learn to make and reach personal goals.
