Virtual Rising New York Road Runners Invitational at the TCS New York City Marathon

Orange header background

Kids are celebrating 50 years of the TCS New York City Marathon in their own way. The Virtual Rising New York Road Runners Invitational at the TCS New York City Marathon brings kids around the world across the virtual Central Park finish line. Run or walk 1 mile, 1.5 miles, or 5K (3.1 miles) anywhere and anytime between October 23 and November 7. Choose a course outdoors or indoors—even on a treadmill! No need to track the time; just get out there and have fun!

For extra motivation check out our guided runs featuring Olympic medalist and Rising New York Road Runners Ambassador & Special Advisor Jenny Simpson (1 mile), two-time Olympian and Rising New York Road Runners Ambassador & Special Advisor to Puerto Rico Beverly Ramos (1.5 miles), and Paralympian and TCS New York City Marathon Champion Daniel Romanchuk (5K).

Kids can wear their bib proudly, and once they have completed the virtual race, they can print an official Rising New York Road Runners finisher certificate!

No printer? No worries! Have your kids create their own bib and certificate, and for some extra inspiration, check out our video on how to build your own race kit!
