2026 TCS New York City Marathon Kids Kickoff Virtual Run

The TCS New York City Marathon is right around the corner, and your kids can help celebrate the start of race week by taking part in the TCS New York City Marathon Kids Kickoff Virtual Run! Families can sign up young runners of all ages and abilities for this free virtual event, which enables kids to experience the excitement of the world's greatest marathon. By registering, kids are encouraged to run or walk any distance between October 1 and November 30. It’s a wonderful way to inspire them to get active!

Bib and Finisher Certificate  

Print a fun TCS New York City Marathon Kids Kickoff bib to make participation even more memorable and celebratory. Choose a course outdoors or indoors—or even on a treadmill! There’s no need to track your time—just have fun! Once they’ve completed the virtual run, you can print out the official Rising New York Road Runners finisher certificate!  

No printer? No worries! Have your kids create their own bib, and for some extra inspiration, check out our video on how to build your own race kit.

Adults, you can also participate virtually! Join runners from around the globe and run the Virtual TCS New York City Marathon anywhere and anytime between October 24 and November 1.
